Consultation, Installation & Maintenance

We offer consultation to help you assess and design for the growing conditions and spacing on your land. We provide design services on planting, irrigation and to install and maintain regenerative systems. Planting designs include recommendations on species selection ideal for your soil type, elevation, existing conditions, the type of fruit and food you want to grow. Plant species can also be suggested for installing windbreaks and for controlling erosion and runoff of sediment and nutrients to protect our near shore reefs and waterways.

Our regenerative farming designs focus on restoring soil health and function as the basis for activating nutrient cycling and other essential biological functions essential to the healthy growth of your trees. This includes a soil fertility test, soil health assessment, and an ecological nutrient management regime to routinely add specific carbon and mineral amendments and organic fertilizers to feed your plants and a diversity of soil micro-organisms.

Bulk Order from Our Nursery

We sell grafted late and early season avocado, mango, and other tropical fruit trees. We also sell shrubs and ground covers that will work well as an agroforestry system and ideal for the growing conditions of our North Shore community. We also sell native trees that attract pollinators, beneficial insects, and that will promote deep nutrient cycling. Additionally, we sell species ideal for windbreak and hedgerows which will help create a micro-climate, maintain soil moisture essential for plant and microbial activity and bio-diversity to strengthen nutrient cycling and plant health. Many of the plants we sell as part of our agroforestry packages, include food, native and medicinal plants that will serve multiple functions.

If you are interested in starting an orchard as a main feature on your farm or additional income on your farm or property and want to install 20+ trees, consider working with us on a custom order. This allows you to select the varieties and types of fruit trees and companion plants rather than working from our existing inventory. We are also connected to other growers and food hubs regionally around the island for those interested in learning about the potential earnings on fruit crops.

Learn to Grow & Graft Your Own

Join our ‘Growers Community”. We host quarterly workshops where you can learn and connect with other fruit growing enthusiasts from our North Shore community. We also offer a lively YouTube channel. Our workshop series will help you prepare your land to plant fruit trees, build soil health, add carbon and activate soil microbes to regenerate nutrient cycling, add essential minerals to optimize the nutrient density of the food you’re growing, setup irrigation, propagate and graft your own trees, and setup a nutrient management routine. Joining our growers community is a fun way to increase your knowledge about the skill of grafting, diversify your existing orchard or garden, and learning with a network of others through every step of the process. We can also help you organize a Permablitz planting party or refer you to one of our partners for the installation.

Field Grafting

Our ‘topworking’ services (in-field grafting) enhance existing trees and orchards to increase productivity. This service is ideal for those with a signature tree or orchard that is not consistently yielding desired fruit.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Building Soil & Growing Nutrient Dense

We partner with Hawaii Regenerative Food Movement to provide soil and plant sap testing, in-field soil health assessments, and consultation on soil building designs and nutrient management plans for growing nutrient dense food using regenerative practices.
