The Nursery.
We specialize in selling to land owners and landscapers in our North Shore community that are starting or expanding farms or backyard food forest. We sell bulk orders of our plants in pot sizes that are intended for larger-scale projects. This allows us to sell our plants at a more affordable price then you’d pay for larger, individual plants at a retail nursery.
We carry a large inventory of mango, citrus and avocado varieties that are unique and intended to keep fruit on your table year round.
The natives and ‘functional plants’ we grow are ideal for installing windbreaks, privacy hedges and regenerating the land. We keep a large supply of vetiver and perennial peanut to support our local stewardship projects.
We make agroforestry design easy by selling packages of trees, shrubs, vines and ground covers .
Agroforestry Design & Installation.
Our design and installation services help land owners on the North Shore transition fallow land into thriving agroforestry systems, add diversity to existing farms and regenerate productivity in older orchards. Our agroforestry designs are intentionally designed for minimal maintenance and to provide you with successional growth of short and mid-term food crops until longer-term tree crops mature.
Our agroforestry design concepts are applied to a range of settings and style preferences, from sculpted landscapes integrating hardscape features to commercial agroforestry designs integrating row crops.
Our design software allows us to communicate conceptual designs to our clients and to project the potential carbon sequestration, input cost, yields and return on investment for particular agroforestry designs.
We work with a team of machine operators, skilled laborers and experienced farmers to install your agroforestry design.
Nutrient Management & Maintenance.
Our commitment to growing nutrient-dense food for our community and regenerating our land starts in our nursery. Our vermicast system adds indigenous micro-organisms and carbon to our custom potting mix blends. In addition to using organic practices, we routinely apply full-spectrum micro-nutrients through foliar applications to ensure your plants are inoculated with a diversity of soil biology and nutrients.
We also offer field grafting services for our clients who want to add a new varieties of budwood to existing trees or orchards.
Our partner, Hawaii Regenerative Food Movement, provides soil health and nutrient management services for our customers. Their services include soil and leaf tissue fertility lab testing, soil and water toxicity testing, soil health and farm plans, crop nutrient recommendations and nutrient maintenance programs, maintenance programs and customized crop fertilizer blends, nutrient deficiency and Brix sugar level monitoring, and installation of carbon and soil-building systems.
Our field grafting services are ideal if you have a favorite tree or existing orchard which is not producing the fruit you prefer. Our budwood comes from our demonstration farm in Mokuleia and a network of farms on the North Shore, which ensures the cultivars we use grow well on the North Shore.
Starting a farm can be overwhelming. A farm plan can help you set objectives, prioritize projects and setup systems for starting and maintaining a regenerative farm.
Farmers relay on soil and leaf tissue tests to know if nutrients are missing or in excess and when to add specific nutrients to the soil or directly to plants. It is also important to add soil biology and organic matter to improve the physical and biological properties of your soil. These tests and practices are affordable and can help you ensure the health of your fruit trees and agroforestry system.

Agroforestry Packages
Our agroforestry packages are sold seasonally, offering resident on the North Shore wholesale pricing on groups of functional, native and edible plants that grow well together and are optimal for our North Shore climate. All of our plants are grown using biological inoculants, full-spectrum minerals and higher-level nutrients. The diversity of agroforestry plants included in our packages are designed to regenerate soil health, encourage deep nutrient cycling and provide the greatest subsistence and nutrient density. Join the fun by planting a food forest in your backyard and help us grow the local and regenerative food movement together.

This package is ideal for a 100 to 200 sq. ft. backyard area and features one fruit tree, 5 perennial shrubs, and edible ground covers, herbs and pollinator plants. Growing food in an agroforestry system is a more robust and sustainable alternative to backyard garden boxes and can still be done in a small space.

Agroforestry Homestead Package

This package is ideal for a half acre to two acre area and includes 5 fruit, nut, or spice trees, 10 shrubs or smaller trees, native starches and edible perennial ground covers. Varieties in this package are selected based on yield potential and preference of the local commercial market. If youʻre interested in establishing a small, diversified orchard, this will be a nice start.
